Education Programs

DSSA provides one - on - one learning assistance to school students with Down syndrome and other similar chromosomal disorders in schools and supports classroom teachers and school staff with educational teaching programs. Our Special Education teachers are called upon to provide training to other educational programs and are recognised for their excellence internationally.

This classroom based program for post secondary students provides individualised lessons in basic literacy and numeracy, personal development and assistance with transition to employment with the aim of giving each student the best possible preparation to live as independently as possible.
