In 2005 Club Slick was awarded not one but two awards:

The City of Burnside Australia Day Award
South Australian Community Event of the year

We were very excited and here are some photos from the award ceremonies.

FAMILY FUN DAY 2007

Family fun day was enjoyed by our members both young and old. Many thanks to the SA Metropolitan Fire Service for a surprise visit.

The sound of the fire engine arriving at the school was welcomed by the delighted squeals and screams of children in awe of the firemen and their fire truck. Thanks to Robbie Teamo for bringing the prime mover. Of course the mums and dads were equally impressed and needed very little encouragement to peruse the mighty machines.

We would like to thank all those who supported the Society's fundraising activities on the day. Once again everyone enjoyed being entertained by the Club Slick Demo Team. A big thank you to Actor;s Inc. and Essential Talent for donating new entertainment this year which included Motown Magic and Ziggy's Magic Show. The Lions Club of Adelaide provided a sausage sizzle, donating all proceeds to the Society. A big than you to Robbie Teamo for donating the ice-creams and to Father Christmas (alias Geoff Boulton).
