The Down Syndrome Society of South Australia proudly announces the auspicing of KIDS, a new service being offered to families, professionals, school personnel, therapists and other staff who are invovled in supporting the ongoing development and education of children and students with with Down syndrome and similar chromosomal disorders, global developmental delay and intellectual disability.
This service is available to South Australian, interstate and international customers.
This includes a Helpline and Consultancy Service. For further information click on the KIDS logo.
Training & Consultancies - Courses for Education Staff
The DSSSA offers an extensive range of training and development programs for preschool and school personnel.(see list below).
Some courses are run regularly throughout the year whilst others are run on an ‘as needed’ basis.
Search our training database to see the courses on offer as part of the 2010 Training and Development program. Membership of the Society provides a discount on course fees (and for some courses attendance is free).
