Employment Options

Landing that first job is an exciting time and whilst the Society isn’t an Employment agent and doesn’t find jobs for people, we are more than happy to have a chat with you and give guidance as to what to look for in an employment agency. If requested we can also provide agencies with information about the young person with Down syndrome (or other chromosomal disorder) to give to prospective employers in an effort to debunk myths and emphasise the young person’s potential and value they could add to an organisation.
