An Event to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day
T4321 (an inventive abbreviation for ‘Tea for trisomy 21’) is held throughout the month of March to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day and the lives and achievements of people with Down syndrome.
To celebrate the occasion and to raise funds for Down Syndrome South Australia (DSSA), we are asking members and supporters to hold local fundraising and awareness events across the country.
The concept is simple – hold a morning or afternoon tea, or perhaps something slightly more audacious, and invite a group of friends or colleagues. Provide them with a cup of tea or beverage and a bite to eat to raise awareness of Down syndrome and to collect as many donations as you can to support the work of Down Syndrome Australia and your local association.
You can make the event as big or small as you like – it’s entirely up to you.

Thank you for your support. The money raised will assist DSSA to provide vital support services to individuals with Down syndrome to achieve a lifetime of meaningful inclusion in the community.
