T4321

Support people with Down syndrome and hosting your own T - Party or celebration

Each year the voices of people with Down syndrome and those who live and work with them, grow louder. But there is still so much more we can do. What is T 4321? "Tea for Trisomy 21" refers to the three copies of chromosome 21.

T 4321 is celebrated during February, March and April each year, around World Down Syndrome Day which takes place annually on the 21st March. The date (21/3), once again represents the 3 copies of chromosome 21, which is unique to people with Down syndrome. The day celebrates achievements of people with Down syndrome and how positively these can impact our workplace, home life and communities.

Where do I start?

Show your love, support and compassion and get your friends, family or work colleagues for a morning "T", afternoon "T", high "T" or par "T" to celebrate the lives and achievements of people with Down syndrome, and raise much needed awareness and funds in the community to support people with Down syndrome.

People across the world will celebrate the lives and achievements of people with Down syndrome. YOU TOO can celebrate this very important day by hosting your own T 4321 celebration! It need not take place on the 21 March - T 4321 events are happening around the world between the months of February, March and April annually.

Join in the fun for a good cause, generate some goodwill with your employers by holding a workplace corporate morning tea! It could be a morning or afternoon tea, a garden cocktail party, barbeque or any other celebration that brings people together.
